In the laparoscopic training program many surgeries occur but still some complications are seen and the one of these complications occurs in laparoscopic gastric banding.

Even though these surgeries are the new shape of the weight loss, in gastric banding some post operative complications are also seen.

Laparoscopic gastric surgery is considered to be one of the vital surgeries and is to be treated in safer manner then any other surgeries. After every precaution taken still it carries some risks and complications.

The tribulations are divided into four major groups. These are:-

1. Specific risks through banding- in laparoscopic gastric banding it include the residency of band around the abdominal walls near the stomach area and band is adjustable. The problems arises with this banding is band slippage, eroding, mechanical break down, displacement of surrounding portion, pain over abdominal area.

2. Risks through laparoscopy- sometimes while performing any operations through laparoscopy it can lead to electrical burns which thus cause tearing of organs.

3. Problems in digestion- these banding can cause lots of gastric problems main indigestion, vomiting, nausea, blockage in the passage between two openings in stomach, difficulty in swallowing process etc.

4. Other complications- Apart from above stated problems there can some additional problems such as pain over chest area, abdominal pain, fever, infections, hernia, gastritis, belching, ulcerations etc.

Since laparoscopic hospital makes its best to minimize these problems but still these complications happens due to many reasons which can harm the body structure.
