The Health Professional’s Guide to Dietary Supplements
What is your daily diet like these days, are you one of those individuals who’ve adopted a very strict eating regime, or are you one of the many who basically eat anything that’s there? The hungry horse type or person will even eat the out-of-date food from the refrigerator without batting an eyelid! It’s the person with the sweet tooth you have to watch carefully! We all seem to seek this ‘instant gratification’ never considering how beneficial health supplements can be.
Ok so it was a little graphic but it made the point because you are not doing yourself any good consuming everything you see that way. I can’t tell you how bad it is for your health to eat like that, so perhaps it’s time you took a step back and started to look after yourself by taking health supplements. Before you say no, just think about the benefits these supplements can bring to your long term health and happiness. The worst thing is when people who have never tried them say how awful they taste.
So how come they are so sure they won’t like them then, it’s not as if they are being asked to eat a locust or a fly larva is it? The powdered health supplements like Genf20 (read Genf20 reviews here) I take are great with a variety of tastes and they contain essential minerals to boot. For me there are two that I just must take and one of those is a multivitamin which I have been taking this for a very long time and highly recommend. I believe everyone no matter how healthily you eat would benefit from taking multivitamins and all you do is swallow one at a mealtime.
The other health supplement I take is called whey protein, you may have heard of it; I take it as a flavored shake. I suppose it’s the fact that you get so much protein and goodness from what is essentially a milk shake. It’s also easy and very convenient to drink, in the morning and at lunch time. You can down one of these whenever you please and take on about 30 extra grams of protein, which is great for muscles development.
These days, the types of health supplements on offer have been designed to give you all the good and none of the bad. Things that you are warned about consuming too much of like saturated fats, cholesterol, salt and sugar, to name a few, aren’t in them. Well I suggest you go take a look on the internet and see just how beneficial these health supplements are for you.
